Arnold's medical, nursing, statistical, and humanities titles have long been distributed into Australia and New Zealand through regional partners on behalf of the Hodder Headline group. This page summarises the current channels for institutional and individual orders, standing orders, and inspection copies.
Individual and academic orders
Titles are available through academic and high-street bookshops across Australia and New Zealand. Quote the full title, author, and ISBN — the back-cover ISBN on a print copy, or the matching entry on our bookspages — and your local bookshop will be able to supply from stock or order on your behalf through the regional distributor.
Institutional & library orders
University libraries, teaching-hospital libraries, and nursing- school libraries in Australia and New Zealand can set up standing orders for Arnold series — including Muir's Textbook of Pathology, the Ten Teachers series, and the Arnold Clinical Practice Series — through their usual library supplier. Please reference the Arnold / Hodder Arnold imprint when placing the order so the correct distribution channel is used.
Inspection & desk copies
Lecturers at Australian and New Zealand universities considering an Arnold textbook for course adoption may request a free inspection copy. Quote your institution, course title, typical enrolment, and preferred shipping address. The book is yours to keep upon confirmation of a class-set adoption; otherwise we ask only for its return in resaleable condition.
Journal subscriptions
Arnold's academic journal portfolio — including Statistical Methods in Medical Research, Clinical Rehabilitation, Lupus, The Holocene, and many others — is now published under SAGE Publications following the 2006 transfer. Australian and New Zealand institutional subscriptions are arranged through SAGE's regional office. See the journals page for the full list.
