Biography

Reg Rose is a former lecturer in carpentry and joinery at Leeds College of Building. With Brian Porter he produced Hodder Arnold's Carpentry and Joinery: Bench and Site Skills and Carpentry and Joinery: Work Activities—heavily illustrated manuals aligned to NVQ/SVQ pathways that walk candidates through stairs, roofs, windows, and fitting-out tasks from component selection to fixing. Their texts remain touchstones for college craft programmes.
