Biography
Paul Turner was a leading British clinical pharmacologist who spent his career at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School in London, where he joined the staff in 1963 as a lecturer and rose to be Reader and then Professor of Clinical Pharmacology. He edited a number of texts and journals in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics, and was the founding Editor of Human Toxicology (launched in 1981 and later renamed Human & Experimental Toxicology), the journal that carried the Arnold programme in toxicology through the 1980s and into the Hodder Arnold and SAGE eras.
