Biography
Mark A. Creager is an American cardiologist and vascular medicine specialist, Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Director of the Heart and Vascular Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, previously Director of the Vascular Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School. He is a past President of the American Heart Association and of the Society for Vascular Medicine. In 1996 he founded Vascular Medicine with Edward Arnold — merging the precepts of the earlier Vascular Medicine Reviews — and served as its founding Editor-in-Chief for nineteen years, carrying the journal from Arnold through the Hodder Arnold years and into SAGE publication.
