Biography
James M. Provenzale, M.D., is Professor of Radiology at Duke University School of Medicine, with joint faculty ties to the Duke Institute for Brain Sciences, and is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and neurology. After clinical training at Albany Medical College, the University of North Carolina, and Massachusetts General Hospital, he built a research programme in neuro-oncology imaging, cerebrovascular disease, and advanced MRI. He has co-authored major neuroradiology and neuro-oncology texts, including the Duke-linked editions of Russell and Rubinstein's Pathology of Tumors of the Nervous System.
