Biography
Derek Newbold is a motor-vehicle engineering author and former lecturer associated with Hinckley College (now part of North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College). With Allan Bonnick he wrote successive editions of A Practical Approach to Motor Vehicle Engineering and Maintenance (and related Routledge titles), covering workshop science, maintenance procedures, and the underpinning knowledge required for vocational automotive qualifications in the UK.
