About the journal
Founded at Edward Arnold in 1994 as Ecumene — a journal of environment, culture and meaning — and renamed Cultural Geographies from 2002 onward. Carries work at the intersection of cultural geography and the humanities. Transferred to SAGE in 2006 under the Cultural Geographies masthead.
