Biography
Stewart Fleming's laboratory work on renal cell carcinoma, oxygen-sensing pathways and post-mortem standards complemented his teaching mission on the Dundee campus that historically traced back to Sir Robert Muir's early pathology chair. He joined Levison, Burt, Harrison and Reid as co-editor of the fourteenth edition of Muir's Textbook of Pathology (Hodder Arnold, 2008), contributing particularly to mechanisms of neoplasia and to high-acuity diagnostic themes.
