Karol Sikora

Clinical Oncologist

Biography

Karol Sikora trained in Cambridge and Stanford before building the Hammersmith oncology service that became a flagship of Imperial College's cancer campus. He led WHO cancer-control programmes in the 1990s, then moved into pharmaceutical R&D and independent healthcare policy commentary. With Tim Illidge he edited Hodder Arnold's Treatment of Cancer, a trainee-facing survey of multimodality management across solid tumours and haematological malignancies pitched at the FRCR curriculum of the 2000s.
